Pharmacist wins Coeliac UK award

Coeliac UK are pleased to annouce the presentation of the 'Your local pharmacist' category award in the Supporter Awards, kindly sponsored by Juvela.

Wendy Griffiths, an independent community pharmacist from Lakeside, Cardiff, was nominated by Deborah Palmer-Buss for all her help and for going that extra mile. Wendy was always on-hand to help Deborah when her three children were diagnosed with coeliac disease, even sending samples of new gluten-free products.

The presentation was attended by Emma Smith, Head of Campaigns and Communications at Coeliac UK, Jenny Randerson Welsh Assembly Member for Cardiff Central, Liberal Democrat Health spokesperson, Jill Swift Cardiff Group Committee Member and Deborah and her three children, Abigail, Dylan and Myles.
